Updated Offshore Reports August 18, 2011 2001 Cape May, NJ

I have reschedule today's and tomorrow offshore trips (Aug 18-19) and hoping if we get some better reports of a Yellowfin bite which looking at the current sea temp charts should happen again like last week when we had some great day trolling trips. If things start to look up we will be going this weekend.

Our current status on overnight tuna trips out of Cape May, NJ

I suggest anyone that wants to do an overnight trip wait and see if the bite actually happens since the last 3 years there has been no night chunk bite in our local canyons. The best bite by far has been way up north from 90-135 miles from Cape May so a longer 30 hour trip would be in order if you want a realistic chance to put together at a night tuna catch unless things change in the coming weeks.
