We try to base all our trips on the best tides, wind, water clarity, availability of fresh bunker. We try to customize all our trips based on the conditions that will produce the best fishing and we never fish by the clock. 

Spring Black Drum Trips and Pricing

Normal trips Depart approximately 2:00 pm

6 Hours: $850.00

8 Hours: $950.00

*** Traditional May Black Drum trips depart early afternoon and return at dark but we will run custom trips that depart early evening and fish into the late night to avoid the large crowds on weekends and holidays.  Contact us for details.

Note: We will have a 2012 Delaware State Charter Boat license this spring to fish over at Slaughter Beach, DE where the best (Black Drum bite) was last spring.

It is against the law to fish the Delaware side of the bay for Stripers and Black Drum without a Delaware Charter Boat license which cost $300.00 for a 6 pack boat and $600.00 for a boat carrying more than 6 anglers. Check with your local NJ charter boat prior to booking to make sure they have a legitimate 2012 license to avoid problems with the Delaware Marine Police who do check NJ charter boats fishing the Delaware side for Black Drum in the spring.
